In this policy, "Release House," "we," "us," and "our" refer to Bohemian Office Music Marketing LLC operating as Release House.
1. Information You Provide

2. Technical and Security Information
When you use the Service, our hosting and security infrastructure may generate technical information such as your IP address, request and security logs, and device or browser information. This information is used for operating, securing, and troubleshooting the Service.
3. How We Use Information
We use personal information to:
- operate and maintain your account;
- provide the services you purchase;
- process releases and coordinate distribution;
- provide customer support;
- maintain security and prevent fraud;
- send transactional communications;
- administer payments and orders;

4. Legal Bases (EEA / UK)
Where the EU or UK GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (to provide the Service you request); our legitimate interests (such as securing the Service, preventing fraud, and operating our business); compliance with legal obligations; and your consent where we specifically ask for it. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
5. Cookies
The Service currently uses a single strictly necessary first-party cookie, df_session, for authentication and session management. It is httpOnly, uses SameSite=Lax, is marked Secure in production, and has a maximum lifetime of approximately 7 days. We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. For more detail, see our Cookie Policy.
6. Service Providers and Sharing
We share personal information with service providers (processors) that help us operate the Service, and with distribution partners and digital platforms as necessary to perform the services you request. Our current key providers include:
- Neon (PostgreSQL) — account, order, release, and database information;
- Cloudflare R2 — storage of uploaded audio, artwork, and related release assets;
- Resend — transactional emails such as verification, password reset, and contact or revision communication;
- Upstash (Redis) — rate limiting and security, which may use hashed identifiers such as email or IP;
- Vercel — hosting, content delivery, and ordinary infrastructure and server logs.
Payments: We intend to process payments through Stripe. When enabled, Stripe processes payment-card details as a payment processor, and full payment-card details are handled by the payment processor rather than stored directly by Release House.
We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer, in each case as permitted by applicable law.
7. We Do Not Sell Personal Information
Release House does not sell your personal information for money. We share information only with service providers and distribution partners as needed to provide the Service, and as otherwise described in this policy.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service and for legitimate business, legal, accounting, and security purposes, and to comply with applicable legal obligations. Retention periods depend on the type of information and the purpose for which it is held.
9. International Transfers
We and our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where personal information is transferred internationally, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place as required by applicable law.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding your personal information, which may include the right to:
- access the information we hold about you;
- request correction of inaccurate information;
- request deletion;
- request portability where applicable;
- request restriction of, or object to, certain processing where applicable;
- withdraw consent where processing relies on consent;
- exercise applicable U.S. state privacy rights.
These rights vary by jurisdiction and are subject to applicable law. To make a request, contact us at support@releasehouse.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
12. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for children who cannot legally enter into the service agreement independently. We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from such children contrary to applicable law. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date above. Material changes will take effect as permitted by applicable law.
